Admission Criteria

A Candidate who is desirous of seeking admission in the three year Diploma programme in Mechanical Engineering & Instrumentation & Control Engineering must:

1. Be Permanent Resident of J&K State.
2. Have passed the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) from recognised statutory board. The Candidate appeared/appearing in 10th class examination can also apply for the Entrance Test.
3. Have obtained 40 % marks in 10th class in case of open merit and 37% in case of reserved category.

List of Documents required at the time of admission:

1. Matriculation pass marks sheet
2. Date of Birth Certificate/ Diploma Certificate
3. Permanent Resident Certificate
4. Category Certificate if any
5. Provisional Certificate/School Leaving Certificate
6. Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
7. Four recent colour passport size photograph
8. Admit Card
9. Anti Ragging Affidavit in prescribed format
10. Undertaking Affidavit in prescribed format.
11. Gap Certificate if applicable in prescribed format
