Govt Polytechnic College Kathua Organized Campus Placement

Govt Polytechnic College Kathua organized a campus placement for the Mechanical diploma engineering pass-out students of 2016 batch in the college premises. The placement was conducted by Oerlikon Graziano Transmission India Pvt Ltd. an Industrial group specialized in machine and plant transmission engineering for there new manufacturing plant coming at Greater Noida, Delhi. In the placement drive twelve candidates of 2016 batch of Mechanical Engineering namely Mr. Sourav Sangra, Nihal Singh, Ankit Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Abhishek Jamwal, Abhishek Sharma, Neeraj Singh, Gourav, Ajay Kumar, Mohd. Zahoor and Varun Kumar were selected and were directed to report to Greater Noida on 22nd October for their intial six month on-job training. They will be paid the stipend during the training as per the NSDC norms of Govt of India and will be provided free loading/Boarding and food during the training. The final semester students of the college also got an opportunity to interact with the corporate personnel. Mr. Ranjeet Tyagi and Mr Ankur Mishra from Oerlikon Graziano transmission India Pvt Ltd conducted the campus placement. Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college encouraged and guided the participating students for utilising the opportunity to secure jobs in the reputed companies. He said the College will continue to strive for helping the students for facilitating their placement in the market with the help of corporate sector by organizing frequent such placement drive in future as well. Er. Ajay thapa, Training and Placement Officer of the college thanked the corporate for providing an opportunity to the students to work in their organization.
