Government Polytechnic Kathua Organized Webinar on Career Counselling
Career Counselling and placement cell of Government Polytechnic College Kathua today organized Career Counselling and Self-employment Webinar in collaboration with District Employment and Counselling Center, Kathua for students of Govt. Polytechnic Kathua. The webinar was attended by the faculty and students of all the departments of the college.
The resource person for webinar was Sh. Surjeet Kumar, Career Counseling Officer, District Employment and Counselling Center Kathua. In his presentation, he apprised the students about self-employment opportunities and various financial scheme available for diploma polytechnic students. He also explained the students about benefits of National Career Service portal and steps of registration.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt. Polytechnic Kathua who while speaking on occasion, highlighted the importance of Career Counseling to students and motivated the students to take benefit of various employment schemes.
Er. Vishal Sharma, Demonstrator, Govt. Polytechnic Kathua conducted the proceeding of the program and presented formal vote of thanks.
