Government Polytechnic Kathua Organised Poster Making Competition
Government Polytechnic Kathua observed Anti-Terrorism Day on May 21, 2021. The pledge was taken by all Faculty members, Staff members and students to fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values. On the occasion, Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Kathua delivered an awareness speech about the importance of the day and motivated the students to be vigilant and spread the message of peace, humanity, unity and harmony. The pledge was administered with the objective to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the sufferings of the common people.
On the occasion, Online Poster making competition was also organised in which 39 students of 2nd, 4th and 6th semester participated. First position was shared by Gulshan Kumar and by Sohit Kumar Kumar, second by Randeep Singh and Manav Aryan and third by Sourav Sharma and Angad pal Singh Sodhi. The judges for the competition were Er. Rishabh Gupta, Er. Vishal Sharma and Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, faculty of the college.
