Full one day Industrial cum Technical visit of 4th and 6th semester students of Govt Polytechnic Kathua was conducted today under the able guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt. Polytechnic kathua.The students visited local industries i.e Kohinoor Tyre, Eastman Tube Reclamation industry and Gravita Bottling Industry situated at SIDCO Kathua.The student's were made accquitant to process of rubber handling in various tyre tubes and also to various process in a bottling plant. The visit was organised to provide technical exposure to students to machines such as Steam boilers, water softening plant, refining machines, tyre cutter machines, cooling towers, surface grinders etc and aware them about the local industries at SIDCO, Kathua. Students were accompanied by staff members Er. Ravi Kumar, Er. Munish Sharma, Er. Puneet, Er. Nikhil, Mr. Kuldeep Gupta, Mr Shamsher Chand and Mr Ravinder Kumar. Training and Placement cell comprising Er Anshul Mahajan (I/C TPO), Er Jasdeep Kaur and Er Vishal Sharma made all the necessary arrangements for the Technical visit.
