Government Polytechnic Kathua organised Seminar on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
Government Polytechnic College Kathua today organised the awareness programme on the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Department of Health. The Principal of college Er. Arun Bangotra while speaking on the occasion advised the students to live a healthy life and stay away from drugs. Dr. Snehli Mahajan, Medical Officer was the resource person who while addressing the staff and students said that the entire world is facing the menace of drug addiction which has a devastating impact on the addict, individual, family and a large section of society and gave a detailed presentation on various Drugs Menace and its Implications on Society. The Programme was coordinated by Er. Vishal Sharma, Demonstrator, Mechanical Engg. All the staff and students also took a pledge to keep away from drugs and take this Abhiyan to society.
