Rangoli Competition held at Government Polytechnic Kathua

Rangoli competition was organised by Government Polytechnic Kathua today to promote the traditional artform amongst students. The first position was bagged by Inderjeet, Shabnam and team from 3rd semester Mechanical, second by 3rd semester I&C team of Rupali, Kavita, Stuti and third position by team of Simpy Devi and Arti of 1st semester Mechanical Engg. All the teams put in their best efforts and after the competition the college lobby was sparkling with such beautiful use of colours and designs which added to the festive galore. Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the students and staff and said that organizing such events helps students to remain in close touch with their culture. The Rangoli making competition motivated the students to perform and outshine in their creative skills and most important, work as a team. The event was coordinated by faculty members Er. Jasdeep Kaur, Ms Neeru Devi, Ms Rubal Mahajan and Ms. Ridhima.
